MageBridge Standard and MageBridge Enterprise
Thursday, 02 December 2010Together with the new Yireo site, we also launched a new version of MageBridge. There are now two packages available: MageBridge Standard and MageBridge Enterprise - a different price, the terms of memberships are different, but it's still the same great software. Let's take a look what these two packages bring.
Two MageBridge packages
MageBridge exists out of a component, numerous plugins and modules in Joomla!, and a single extension in Magento. In the past, the MageBridge extension suite was sold for 195 Euro per membership, while each membership was good for 6 domains and 1 year of updates. Listening to demand, we have now introduced a second package - MageBridge Standard - which is good for only 2 domains and only 3 months of updates: The price is 95 Euro per membership.
The original MageBridge package has been rebranded to MageBridge Enterprise. Any existing membership continues to exist under the same terms and conditions: 6 domains and 1 year of updates.

MageBridge version 1.6 upcoming
Still in december, we plan to release MageBridge version 1.6. As you can see on our roadmap, almost all features are actually already implemented. Only some work on product-connectors needs to be done. We have also started with the todo-list of version 1.7, and have even included some experimental Joomla! 1.6 support in the current versions - ofcourse we don't recommend setting up any production site with Joomla! 1.6 until it is fully stable.
