Joomla! 1.6 Bug Event in Amsterdam
Monday, 31 January 2011Last Sunday, a great event took place in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Hosted by various Dutch service providers for Joomla!, the Joomla! community was able to organize a Joomla! 1.6 Bug Event and Release Party. In the early Sunday afternoon, numerous people took up the challenge to find, document and fix bugs in the newly release Joomla! 1.6.0.
Also, the Dutch documentation-team was working together to finish the final parts of the Dutch language-packs for Joomla! 1.6. Various problems were found and solved. Various bugs were fixed and submitted to the official bug tracker. In all, it was a great event and also a great time to socialize. We are looking forward to the next session, and we'll be surely hosting it again!
