RT Somaxiom template-patch
Wednesday, 09 June 2010The RocketTheme June 2010 template Somaxiom is out, giving you a smooth-looking interface with some nice new features as well. We also finished off a template-patch ourselves to integrate the MageBridge pages nicely in the RT Somaxiom template. The patch is available now in the Yireo Shop.
New Gantry features
The Somaxiom template is based upon the RocketTheme Gantry framework, which includes some new features as well: Thanks to smart loading, images are loaded after CSS and JavaScript, making the browsing experience go smoother. Somaxiom also includes iPhone support - something we have not tested yet ourselves, but we are confident that the integration likes nice with MageBridge as well.
Something included as well are Google Web Fonts, which offer a way to load a custom fonttype on your site without the need to have that installed on your computer. While CSS3 and IE include some tricks to get this working under specific browsers, with Google Web Fonts this works under any browser. Very cool indeed.
