Dutch Joomla! usergroups
Tuesday, 19 October 2010It's not news, but it's nice to write about: The official Joomla! community in The Netherlands has introduced the concept of Joomla! usergroups in various Dutch cities. On the website joomlacommunity.eu you can find news about the meetings of those usergroups.
Wow, 9 usergroups in the Low Lands
While usergroups have already existed for years in other countries (US, UK, among others), it's a nice detail that in a short period of time already 9 different user-groups throughout the Netherlands came into existence. And that with a total population of almost 17 million, while you can drive within 3 hours through the whole of the Netherlands.
At our own joint in Amsterdam
We are also happy to host the usergroup-meetings taking place in Amsterdam. While we make available our own training room for those gatherings, still the real credits go to people organizing the usergroups and of course the people attending the meetings as well.
