Compatibility between MageBridge and Magento 1.4
Saturday, 13 February 2010This morning Magento 1.4.0.0 Stable was released. Though we had tested MageBridge together with Magento 1.4 Alpha before, there seems to be a new setting which stops MageBridge from working correctly.
The problem is easy to fix: Log into the Magento Admin Panel and browse to the System Configuration. Navigate to the section General > Web > Url Options and make sure the setting Redirect to Base URL if requested URL doesn't match it is set to No. If it is set to Yes, MageBridge will get caught in an endless redirect.
