Joomla! 1.6 bootcamp on 25th of November 2010
Wednesday, 10 November 2010On November 25th we will be organizing a second Joomla! 1.6 Bootcamp in the Netherlands. Last time, the bootcamp was a great success with its technical presentations on Joomla! 1.6 ACLs, PHP-code migrations and listings of new features.

Because of its huge impact, the talk of Sander on Joomla! 1.6 ACLs was greatly appreciated. He was not only able to explain the workings of ACLs step-by-step but also gave practical examples and presented his new extension ACL Manager that allows easier access to the various ACL rules.
Code migrations
Jisse and Hans will also be presenting their part during the bootcamp - Jisse will talk about PHP-code migrations to convert Joomla! 1.5 extensions into native Joomla! 1.6 extensions (together with neat stuff like JForm and MooTools 1.2) while Hans shines his light on the latest templating changes.
The bootcamp will be held in Amsterdam and will be in Dutch language. If you are interested in the bootcamp, but would prefer the language to be English, just drop us a note and we'll see what we can do. Registration is required.
