We had already released three MageBridge^TM patches for RocketTheme templates before, and due to the huge demand for these modifications we have released two more patches: Infuse and Iridium.

RocketTheme template patches for MageBridge

Earlier we released CSS-patches and extra PHP-logic, so the templates Nexus, Afterburner and Mynxx could be integrated flawlessly with the Magento Default Theme. Our product MageBridge makes it possible to integrate Magento fully within Joomla!. But because the Magento^TM theme is reused within Joomla!, it requires often some extra fixes within Joomla!^TM to make the integration look seamless.

With our template patches this is accomplished: By adding CSS-files when MageBridge is loaded, the shop looks fine as soon as you install the patch. On our demo-site templates.magebridge.com you can see what this ends up with. Besides CSS, also some PHP-logic is added - for instance to hide all columns when entering the Magento checkout.

RocketTheme Gantry framework

RocketTheme has released a new templating framework called Gantry, which adds an easier PHP-frontend on top of the existing Joomla! templating layer. With this framework PHP-logic is much better to control, and with that the eventual Joomla! output. But this also requires us as third party developers to change the way we fix things in favor of MageBridge.

We are working on modifications on RocketTheme templates that use the Gantry framework. Patches for these templates (like Reaction and Quasar) will most likely arrive at the end of this month. As soon as we have this Gantry-integration rounded up, we most likely will be able to provide fixes as soon as a new RocketTheme template is released.
