Dynamic404 - Logical error-pages
With the Joomla! component Dynamic404 you can redirect 404-pages to other URLs easily by using a 301-redirect. This way, visitors will never get an annoying 404 Not Found page anymore, but they will be redirected to the right page. Alternatively you can setup a solid 404-page which actually helps your visitors find the right page.

Quick steps to make your 404-pages useful

- Download and install the Dynamic404 component in Joomla!
- Optionally install extra Dynamic404 plugins
- Setup Dynamic404 to your needs
- Optionally configure statis redirect-rules
Note that under Joomla! 1.6, you will also need the Dynamic404 System Plugin to be installed and enabled. The plugin is not required under Joomla! 1.5, while Dynamic404 offers exactly the same functionality on both platforms.
Please note that third party SEF solutions like sh404SEF or Artio JoomSEF are not supported, because they ship with their own 404 mechanism.
