SimpleLists is a Joomla! component for displaying content-listings. A list is handled as a category containing items. Each item is similar to (but not the same as) a Joomla! article - it has a title, text and category. But a SimpleLists item also has a picture and a destination link (URL). This allows for much more flexibility than Joomla! articles, because each item is always styled in the same way.

Quick steps to get it working
- Download and install the SimpleLists component in Joomla!
- Setup categories
- Add items to the category
- Create a Menu-Item pointing to the category and make sure to configure all the proper parameters

Flexibility is key
The component is shipped with different views, allowing output in a simple table, output using div-tags, output for just the picture and some output using dynamic hover-effects. More views are added regularly.
