MageBridge turns complex Magento concepts into easy-to-use Joomla! abilities: By using Menu-Items and modules you can use the Joomla! CMS as site building tool and save yourself a lot of frustration and time. There is even a MageBridge plugin for the JCE Editor.

Menu-Items

The Joomla! Menu Manager makes it very easy to build menus. MageBridge simply extends this system by adding its own Menu-Items with a lot of customizable options. Thanks to this you can add links to:

• Magento products or Magento categories
• Magento customer-pages and the Magento checkout
• Any other page within the Magento system

JCE Editor

For the widely popular JCE Editor, a so-called Advanced Links plugin exists that allows you to link selected content to specific Magento pages. Not only are regular Magento pages like the checkout or customer-pages supported, you can even browse for all Magento categories and Magento products - without a loss of performance!

MageBridge modules

The MageBridge suite ships with multiple Joomla! modules that allow you to easily things like the latest products, the shopping cart or a list of tags. Some modules display preconfigured Magento blocks (generated by the Magento theming engine). Other modules are native to Joomla! and fully compliant with MVC.

Many of these modules are hugely customizable: For instance, the MageBridge Products module is able to display products in a menu-listing but also in a jQuery-based slideshow. Also, the MageBridge Custom Block module allows for any Magento block to be displayed in Joomla! - you only need to become a bit familiar with Magento theming to experience the full power of this.
