XLSHosting offers MageBridge VPS

XLSHosting is quickly becoming one of the prime VPS-hosters in The Netherlands, and they have plans to go global soon. While there are numerous VPS-hosters out there, it seems XLSHosting is beating them in a very simple game: Giving a good performance at all times.
Prepared VPS for MageBridge or Magento
The reason for this blog-post is simple: XLSHosting provides VPS-solutions for a good price, but on top of that, it also offers preconfigured VPS-images for usage with MageBridge and Magento. These images have been optimized by Yireo partner Jira ICT (also based in The Netherlands) by tweaking various settings (MySQL, PHP, Linux, Apache, Magento).
Result is that these VPS-images give Magento (and therefor also MageBridge) a performance boost, without the direct need to tweak things yourself. Ofcourse these tricks can be found allover the web (including our Yireo site) but the benefit is that you don't need to spend time on it yourself. The benefit Yireo gets out of this is that hosting is properly configured and customers are kept happy.
Open source minded
While choosing XLSHosting is your own choice (keeping in mind their marketing only focuses on The Netherlands at this moment, and their website is Dutch-only), we'd like to point out that they know how to run a commercially-strong company while still keeping an eye on open-source. Besides offering VPS-hosting, they also offer some cool open-source projects like N2 (an opensource monitoring tool) and OpenPanel (an opensource control panel like CPanel or DirectAdmin).
