Video: Magento setup of MultiSafepay

With Magento you can choose for various payment gateways, that make the setup of payment methods (like credit-card of PayPal) a lot easier. MultiSafepay is one of them and this tutorial shows you how easy and quick it is to setup a Magento of MageBridge website with MultiSafepay.

Setup MultiSafepay

In short, the steps below need to be following when setting up MultiSafepay in Magento:

01Visit the MultiSafepay website www.multisafepay.com

02Create a new MultiSafepay test account to set everything up

03Install the MultiSafepay module within Magento

04Configure the MultiSafepay module in Magento and configure the test-URL https://testmerchant.multisafepay.com/login/. If you want to setup up a live configuration, you'll use the URL https://merchant.multisafepay.com/login/.

05Create a website profile within the MultiSafepay control panel and configure as "Return URL" the Magento URL https://MAGENTO/msp/mspPayment/notification/.

Usage with MageBridge

It's also possible to use MultiSafepay together with MageBridge, which integrates Magento into the Joomla! CMS just like any other component. For this, you will need to use the MageBridge shop-URL, not the Magento URL. We assume SEF is enabled, and that the MageBridge webshop is accessed through the URL "https://JOOMLA/shop":

https://JOOMLA/shop/msp/mspPayment/notification/

Note that for this Magento extension work, MageBridge needs to be configured with the option "Forward SEF" set to "yes". Unfortunately, this makes it imcompatible with sh404SEF.
